1. The Democrats are floundering, in part, because they have been the real "PARTY OF NO"?
Now the electorate has sent the message that Obamaism is not wanted, that the country is over the American Idol fantasy about Obama and that Republicans and Independents will have to be heard.
2. The fact is that Pelosi and Reid have shut out every attempt by the Republicans to contribute ideas to health care reform or to any other matter.
3. As with Obama, Pelosi and Reid have had great arrogance due to their large majorities in both parts of Congress; so much so that they caucus alone and write their socialist pork laden bills alone. This is Obama's definition of being "conciliatory".
4. The Democrats say "NO" to every idea that the Republicans offer, "NO" to every bill the Republicans introduce.
The DEMOCRATS ARE THE REAL PARTY OF "NO".
"NO" outsiders invited!
5. The Democrats have shuffled all Republican introduced bills into committees that the Democrats control and the bills just die in the committees as their trick for saying "NO".
6. The elitist Obama AGAIN asks for bipartisanship, but what he means is that the Republicans have "NO" power, so they should just roll over and vote YES to whatever Pelosi and Reid put in front of them.
7. The REPUBLICANS IN CONGRESS are keeping the United States a democratic Republic by voting
"NO" to bigger government,
"NO" to bigger deficits and
"NO" to other socialist programs!
It is their duty to vote "NO" to bad legislation.
The Republicans and Independents in the ELECTORATE are not giving up, as shown in New Jersey, Virginia and Massachusetts and by the energy and enthusiasm in town hall meetings and Tea Party rallies where they all said
"NO" to ObamaCare,
"NO" to uncontrolled deficit spending, and
"NO" to pampering Islamic Terrorists.

Obama's "STATE OF THE OBAMA" Address
1. The "State of the Union" speech turned out to be the "STATE OF THE OBAMA" speech where he referred to himself ("I") about 75 times,, to the generic "we" (really meaning himself) about 70 times and to "me" or "my" about 5 times. All of this self-focus in only 70 minutes of speech. It was all about the state of the narcissist Obama and not the State of Union.
2. Obama's tone was one of LECTURING AND REPRIMANDING. Obama did his USUAL BLAMING OF OTHERS for his ineffectiveness and failures; hitting the Bush administration about 5 times, Washington (as though he wasn't part of Washington since January 2006 and didn't have a dominant Democratic majority this past year) about 5 times and, of course, Wall Street and Bankers about 7 times. OBAMA SOUNDED ANGRY THAT HE HASN'T GOTTEN HIS WAY ON MANY THINGS.
The newest group he BLAMES IS THE VOTERS THEMSELVES FOR NOT UNDERSTANDING WHAT HE HAS BEEN TRYING TO DO FOR THEM. The bad news for Obama is that voters do understand.
3. Unbelievably, Obama STUCK TO HIS CALL FOR OBAMACARE being passed and modestly said he just didn't explain it well enough to the American people. The fact is that he made over 120 speeches on ObamaCare, numerous interviews and had many of his cohorts explaining how the government taking over one-sixth of the economy was a good thing. Obama is TONE DEAF TO THE PUBLIC; his problem is that the public is not stupid, as he assumes, and ever since August of 2009, the public has been paying great attention to his health reform plan and has rejected it in town hall meetings, in Tea Party rallies and in the votes in New Jersey, Virginia and Massachusetts. Obama's elitism and ideology make it impossible for him to hear the people.
4. Also, unbelievably, Obama is still pushing Cap and Trade, while the Congress and the people don't want any part of this, as most recognize the HUGE HIDDEN TAXES AND JOBS LOSSES THAT A CAP ON CARBON DIOXIDE EMISSIONS WOULD CREATE. Obama sticks to this insane proposal that will cost jobs and at the same time pretends that jobs creation is his number one priority. He mocked all of the recent evidence that man-made warming is a hoax.
5. Obama's plan for "creating jobs" is a fake. He got a massive Stimulus (Recovery Act) bill last year which is now projected to be at about $850 billion, rather than the original $787 billion, and there is no evidence that it helped the economy or created jobs. As everyone knows, but Obama avoided mentioning, his Stimulus Bill did NOT CAP UNEMPLOYMENT AT 8% AS OBAMA PROMISED, but has exceeded 10%. At the same time, he makes up this FAKE NUMBER of the Stimulus "SAVING OR CREATING 2 MILLION JOBS"; there is no evidence for this, but he gives a few anecdotal stories, assuming Americans are stupid and will believe his 2 million number( which started at half a million last summer, then was one million and then 2 million sounded better).
6. Now, Obama wants a SECOND STIMULUS BILL, but the code word is "Jobs Bill" because the FIRST STIMULUS BILL WAS SUCH AS RESOUNDING FAILURE AND FULL OF EARMARKS. The version passed by the House will cost about $80 to $120 billion and is predominantly for more unemployment benefits and public jobs. Obama's philosophy seems to be that if you fail once then do the same thing again. At the same time, he repeated his campaign promise of stopping earmarks after having signed budget and Stimulus bills with thousands of earmarks.
7. The plan to cut the deficit and "FREEZE SPENDING" IS A FAKE. Obama increased the budget deficit by $800 billion over 2008 and now proposes freezing some small part of this at the 2009-2010 inflated levels, but not until 2011. Is he kidding; this is supposed to be a plan for fiscal responsibility?
8. On foreign policy, Obama once AGAIN WARNED IRAN OF "SEVERE CONSEQUENCES" as he has numerous times in the past year and once AGAIN IRAN WILL LAUGH at him. He spoke so strongly about supporting freedom but has been silent when protesters in Iran were beaten, jailed and killed by the government.
9. It's nice to know that WE ARE NOT AT WAR WITH ISLAMIC TERRORISTS, while we are at war in Afghanistan for some vague reason and fighting Al Qaeda. or AIG not repaying all loans or GM and Chrysler not repaying all loans.
10. Also, there was a GLARING ABSENCE of any word about GITMO, or CIVIL CRIMINAL TRIALS for KSM and the underwear bomber.
11. Obama ranted against the influence of lobbyists in government and how he will continue to oppose them, while having APPOINTED ELEVEN FORMER LOBBYISTS to high positions in his administrations and after personally meeting with the leaders of the biggest lobby of all, unions, and handing them a huge earmark, the exemption of union Cadillac health insurance plans from being taxed. What a hypocrite! He plays word games with the public, again believing they are stupid.
12. Obama showed his ANGER in his UNPRECEDENTED CRITICISM OF THE SUPREME COURT for their ruling allowing American businesses to contribute to campaigns. Obama, the Constitutional Law Professor revealed that this was just one more undeserved phony credential in his resume. First, he did not accept that the Supreme Court is an equal branch of government and that they let that ANNOYING DOCUMENT, THE CONSTITUTION, get in the way of his agenda and, second, this Harvard Law graduate EVIDENTLY DIDN'T READ OR UNDERSTAND the Court's decision which specifically forbade contributions from foreign countries or foreign corporations.

Failing in Domestic Policy and Failing In Foreign Policy
OBAMA'S PRESIDENCY IS FAILING IN BOTH DOMESTIC POLICY AND FOREIGN POLICY.
1. Obama has chosen a course that DOES NOT RELATE, AND IS NOT IN THE BEST INTEREST, of the large majority of American people.
2. OBAMA GOT CARRIED INTO OFFICE BY THE ANGER AGAINST BUSH FOR THE ECONOMIC MELTDOWN THAT REACHED CRISIS LEVEL IN OCTOBER 2008 UNDER HIS WATCH.
3. Obama got elected because others around him created a great marketing story about the man and propped him up with teleprompter speeches and rock star like appearances.
4. HOWEVER, Obama cannot change his words in a believable way or his actions.
5. Obama has been PROGRAMMED and given the words by a LIFELONG CONNECTION AND ATTRACTION TO RADICALS, SOCIALISTS AND EVEN COMMUNISTS as he clearly states in his books.
6. Obama has demonstrated this commitment by his lifelong associates in Illinois and many of his appointments to the Cabinet, Czars and his 411 speeches to date as president.
7. OBAMA DOES NOT CONNECT WITH THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, as evidenced by so many instances such as apologizing for America, calling the Cambridge cop stupid for challenging the Black Harvard professor, mocking people who cling to guns and religion and mocking Scott Brown for driving a truck. (Obama cannot relate to people who actually work for a living or do manual chores and may have to drive a truck.)

OBAMA IS ALOOF, ELITIST AND ACTUALLY NOT SO SMART OR ARTICULATE WHEN HE IS REMOVED FROM HIS TELEPROMPTERS, as evidenced by such things as how he stumbles and bumbles for words and thoughts in interviews and press conferences without a teleprompter, his blatant bribery of the unions with a tax break and his outrageous decision on pampering Islamic Terrorists.

Education and Jobs - Obama Changes Costumes
Obama's "agenda" needs to be reset.
Is the anticipated turn toward education and jobs a camouflage for his core beliefs in socialism?
If support of education means more government control of education and less private education, fewer Charter Schools, and making sure that everyone is guaranteed a higher education no matter how qualified or past performance in school, then this is a cover for part of the socialist agenda.
Control of education, health and energy are at the core of socialism.
Will Obama encourage competition among students, reward effort, recognize individual abilities of students? Will standards and variation in teachers' knowledge and ability be rewarded appropriately or will teacher unions dominate the system with seniority the number one metric?
Is Obama in favor of federal government run education with educational materials influenced by the government and students having financial indebtedness to the government?
In jobs, will Obama and the Democrats take the steps to build private sector jobs with a wide range of tax incentives for businesses and individuals (like maintaining the Bush tax rates and a high inheritance tax deduction), abandon the economically unsound "green jobs" agenda and encourage the R&D and implementation of cost competitive domestic energy sources?
Or will the "jobs" be dominated by expanding the public sector which is a drain on the economy not growth, payoffs with earmarks for jobs in certain districts, states and unions and staying on an unsound energy policy that requires huge government subsidies to prop up uncompetitive green energy technologies?

Economic Recovery. Is It Posible Under Obama-Pelosi-Reid?
We need some straight talk from Obama, with clear ready to implement solutions.
These are not new ideas and are so simple.
All but the Left have the common sense to know that they will work.
1. Drop ObamaCare, country cannot afford it; if anything, replace it with free-market based health reforms on tax deductions for individuals, rate competition across state lines, tort reform and pools for truly uninsured citizens not covered by Medicare or Medicaid.
2. Pledge to maintain Bush tax cuts on income tax rate, capital gains and dividends rates instead of letting them expire and increase significantly.
3. New tax breaks for small businesses and for investment in R&D and in equipment for manufacturing.
4. Take all returned TARP money out of circulation to reduce national debt.
5. Take all unspent Stimulus funds and use to reduce national debt.
6. Put strict restraints on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac that now have open-ended pipeline for further losses and lose many billions each month. No more propping up cheap loans and loans to those who are high risk. Regulations that were needed in 1990 need to be passed.
7. No more bailouts. No more "too big to fail". Propping up dysfunctional institutions is a sure prescription for further failure and more government deficit spending.
8. Stop the "Second Stimulus" bill that has already passed the House.
9. Cancel "green jobs" that require the government to heavily subsidize these non-competitive alternative energy sources.
10. Immediately start to develop and make more use of domestic energy sources, off shore drilling, ANWAR oil, natural gas, cleaner coal, nuclear.
11. Extend the inheritance tax exemption at the 2009 level or higher to encourage savings and then investment.
12. Finally, live up to the pledge of no more earmarks (pork). this will be big battle with congress and the likes of Pelosi, Reid, Schumer, and many more of both parties.
13. Actually stop illegal immigration to keep jobs for U.S, citizens and deport all illegal aliens who commit crimes or who do not have jobs.
14. Drop Cap and Trade plan and drop EPA reclassification of carbon-dioxide as a pollutant; this sends jobs overseas. Pay attention to all the scandals around man-made global warming hoax.
Will we get an agenda like this from Obama and the Democrats? Very unlikely. It will likely be more smoke and mirrors, blaming others, and vague promises of fighting for the people (but not doing anything specific) that will get caught up in the Washington bureaucracy and scramble for local pork advantages, so if anything, too little too late gets implemented.

Harry and Bess
WE WILL NEVER SEE THIS HAPPEN AGAIN . . .
BUT THIS IS THE WAY IT SHOULD BE . . .
Harry Truman was a different kind of President. He probably made as many, or more, important decisions regarding our nation's history as any of the other 42 Presidents preceding him. However, a measure of his greatness may rest on what he did after he left the White House.
The only asset he had when he died was the house he lived in, which was in Independence Missouri. His wife had inherited the house from her mother and father and other than their years in the White House, they lived their entire lives there.
When he retired from office in 1952, his income was a U.S. Army pension reported to have been $13,507.72 a year. Congress, noting that he was paying for his stamps and personally licking them, granted him an 'allowance' and, later, a retroactive pension of $25,000 per year.
After President Eisenhower was inaugurated, Harry and Bess drove home to Missouri by themselves. There was no Secret Service following them.
When offered corporate positions at large salaries, he declined, stating, "You don't want me. You want the office of the President, and that doesn't belong to me. It belongs to the American people and it's not for sale."
Even later, on May 6, 1971, when Congress was preparing to award him the Medal of Honor on his 87th birthday, he refused to accept it, writing, "I don't consider that I have done anything which should be the reason for any award, Congressional or otherwise."
As president he paid for all of his own travel expenses and food.
Modern politicians have found a new level of success in cashing in on the Presidency, resulting in untold wealth. Today, many in Congress also have found a way to become quite wealthy while enjoying the fruits of their offices. Political offices are now for sale. (sic. Illinois )

Even later, on May 6, 1971, when Congress was preparing to award him the Medal of Honor on his 87th birthday, he refused to accept it, writing, "I don't consider that I have done anything which should be the reason for any award, Congressional or otherwise."
As president he paid for all of his own travel expenses and food.
Modern politicians have found a new level of success in cashing in on the Presidency, resulting in untold wealth. Today, many in Congress also have found a way to become quite wealthy while enjoying the fruits of their offices. Political offices are now for sale. (sic. Illinois )
Good old Harry Truman was correct when he observed, "My choices in life were either to be a piano player in a whore house or a politician. And to tell the truth, there's hardly any difference!
