Even some of Obama's supporters are concerned that, as President, he does not show passion and is not inspirational about issues. They worry that this is why he is dropping in the polls and the large majority are now opposed to ObamaCare and to Cap and Trade.
It's difficult for an ELITIST and NARCISSIST like OBAMA to drum up passion about anything other than himself and inspire others; particularly when all of his speeches are scripted and he is reading them from teleprompters. The few occasion where he speaks without a script, we see Obama stuttering and stumbling for words because he cannot "think on his feet". It's difficult to show passion and be inspirational in this situation where his energy is focused on trying to come up with the politically correct buzzwords but noncommittal response.
Obama has never been inspirational about issues. He did a great job reading the teleprompter during the campaign but during his actual career he has been bland and non-committal.
1. Obama as Editor of Harvard Law Review -NO INSPIRATION, only editor with no articles of his own.
2. Obama as Community Organizer: NO INSPIRATION, no accomplishment just organizing a political base in dirty Chicago politics.
3. Obama as State Senator in Illinois: NO INSPIRATION, just conniving the "Chicago Way" and avoiding controversy with 100 "present" votes.
4. Obama as U.S. Senator: NO INSPIRATION, no major legislation sponsored, spent two years running for president with slogans and buzzwords but no substance.
5. Obama as President: NO INSPIRATION.

Hillary Was Right
During the 2008 presidential campaign, Hillary Clinton warned that if a national security crisis arose with Barack Obama in the White House and the “red phone” rang at 3 a.m., then Obama could not be trusted to adequately respond. Hillary Clinton has been proven to be right. Hillary warned that an Obama White House would so downplay the threat posed by terrorism that “the government’s focus would shift away from the harsh and determined tactics used to protect the homeland,” Obama's actions have been to work at becoming more popular in the world and stress negotiations. Even after the Fort Hood attack and the failed attempt by the underwear bomber, the comments by Obama's appointees and his own, still do not recognize the magnitude of the threat from Islamic Terrorism..

OBAMA PLAYS WORD GAMES to label Al Qaeda and its operatives as "criminals" and avoids the use of "terrorists".

WOW! After Eight Years of War, Obama Partially Admits It's Real
EIGHT YEARS AFTER 9/11, AND ONE YEAR AFTER BECOMING PRESIDENT, OBAMA FINALLY NOTICES THAT THE UNITED STATES IS AT WAR.
HOWEVER:
1. Obama still cannot bring himself to mention Islamic Jihad or Islamic Terrorists which encompasses Al Qaeda but MUCH MORE. Obama is delusional in simply calling Al Qaeda an organization of "hatred". We are not fighting hatred, we are at war with a world-wide network of Islamic Terrorist groups and nations that come together under the ideology of Islamic Jihad. This includes nations that give the Islamic Terrorists bases for training, safe haven, weapons and financial support.
2. Obama still has the U.S. on the defensive in the war with Islamic Terrorists who try to strike the United States. He wants to tighten security measure for air travel which is good but he is still reacting in a narrow context.This is not simply an issue of making air travel more safe but one of war on many fronts. If Al Qaeda cannot strike us through blowing up airplanes, then they will find other ways to murder Americans.
3. Obama totally misses the larger picture of going after Al Qaeda and the nations that support all Islamic Jihad movements, not just in Afghanistan but, where ever they are based such as in Yemen, Northwest Pakistan and Somalia.
4. Since Iran is a major supporter of various Islamic Terrorists groups as well as providing the Taliban and enemies in Iraq with arms and explosives, it's way past the time that Obama stopped making empty threats to Iran for which they laugh at and ignore him.
5. Obama has moved in the right direction in taking a backdoor to profiling but still confiscating one ounce of shampoo if it's in a four ounce bottle and not allowing airline passengers to use toilet for one hour before landing is not exactly the kind of offense against Islamic Jihad that we need.
6. The complete incompetency of Obama's cronies in this matter, Brennan, Napolitano, Clinton and others is so apparent in their remarks since the Underwear Bomber incident.

Health Care Reform Behind Closed Doors
The Democrats are claiming they need "intraparty" discussions of the House and Senate versions of ObamaCare bills whereby "policy gaps can be bridged".
WHO ARE THEY KIDDING?
The Democrats are trying to finalize ObamaCare by themselves and BEHIND CLOSED DOORS (oops, no Obama transparency) because they have to cut even MORE SLEAZY DEALS with possible holdout votes like the "Louisiana purchase" of Sen. Mary Landrieu's vote for $300 million and the "Cornhusker collusion" of Sen. Ben-maybe abortion isn't all bad-Nelson for perpetual Medicaid supplements for Nebraska.
Also, Reid and Pelosi have to RECONCILE VARIOUS PAYOFFS, in the form of mandates and exceptions, to unions, AARP, big Pharma and big Insurance for their respective support of ObamaCare.
It's behind closed doors because IN THE END, health costs will rise not fall, quality of care will go down not up, insurance companies and AARP will make more profit not less, those on Medicare will see rationing not choice and many uninsured will remain uninsured.

Not Just the Intelligence System Failed, The Obama Administration Set The Tone For Failure
Intelligence and law enforcement organizations are much like large corporations in some respects. The non-management ranks and lower level managers take their clues as to what is acceptable behavior, what level of personal risk taking will be allowed and even rewarded, what not to say and what not do do, from the words, written notices, stated policies and actions of the top executives and the CEO. Even when the lower levels in a corporation may know that the top is mistaken or doesn't have all of the information, most lower levels will only talk among themselves but not risk their jobs, security, benefits or careers, by disagreeing with the top executives and pointing out errors. This is how most large corporations work and this is absolutely how the government works where careers and financial security are prime motivators for seeking employment.
When Obama and his inner circle, particularly Eric Holder in the case of terrorism, give repeated signals in speeches, press interviews and policies about politically correct behavior and a soft attitude toward suspected terrorists and apologies to Muslims around the world, then this message is picked up by the intelligence and law enforcement communities and a tone of personal caution sets in. When actions are taken by the top - such as closing GITMO, prosecuting CIA operatives for vigorous interrogations, prosecuting military people for punching a captured terrorist involved in murders, and civilian trials for the worst of the Islamic Terrorists - then the rank and file in the various intelligence organizations become very cautious and even timid in coming to what might be perceived as a hasty, unsubstantiated or racist conclusion. Acting on "suspicions", possibly intruding on suspects with "unreasonable searches" or possibly violating other civil rights of suspected terrorists, who aren't even U.S. citizens, is viewed as a risky business in this atmosphere.
So, it's not just the sharing and sorting of data that is the problem in heading off Islamic terrorist attacks, it is the total environment created by Obama, Holder and others that lead to intelligence failures such as the Islamic terrorist Kasan committing murders at Fort Hood and the Islamic terrorist Abdulmutallab getting on a plane and attempting to murder hundreds of American civilians. Abdulmutallab and Obama
EVERY ACT OF TERRORISM against airplanes flying into, or within, the United States, since the Pan Am flight was bombed over Lockerbie Scotland, HAS BEEN COMMITTED BY ISLAMIC TERRORISTS WHO WERE CITIZENS OF A FOREIGN COUNTRY in the Middle East or neighboring countries. IT IS INSANE NOT TO PROFILE based upon some clues such as appearance, passport country, etc. for both airline travel and other potential target situations.
EVERY ISLAMIC TERRORIST in these cases has not had a uniform, did not display weapons in the open and was targeting unarmed civilians. THESE ARE WAR CRIMINALS, and those that are captured, have NO RIGHT to be treated as military prisoners of war who are protected by Geneva Convention rules or as civilian criminals protected by the Constitution and the U.S. criminal court procedures.
Yet, Obama and his penchant for appearing fair has this adolescent view that if he is just nice to ISLAMIC TERRORISTS then they won't hate us so much and try to murder Americans. This is nuts, Obama is in a dream world and not dealing with reality. He is also surrounded by incompetents like Janet Napolitano who said "the system worked" with respect to Abdulmutallab, when in fact "the system" could not have failed any worse. In Obama's dream world, there are no Islamic Terrorists or a War on Terrorists, just "extremists" and "man-made disasters" caused by "criminals". Al Qaeda must be having a good laugh over the United States having such a fool for a president and must be planning more attacks where they will correct what went wrong with the Abdulmutallab atttempt.
Abdulmutallab should be in GITMO and subject to VIGOROUS INTERROGATION and a MILITARY COURT!
