Obama continues to blame Bush as a cover-up for his own lies, failed policies and indecision on critical issues.
Now Obama attempts to use Bush as a means of managing the perception of the public about himself. It's such an obvious and worn-out ploy to deflect attention away from himself and his incompetence as president by blaming others and never taking responsibility.
Bush-Cheney is not his only target in his continual blame game.
Obama has other boogiemen as well including: the United States for all past international relations for which he repeatedly apologizes, doctors, insurance companies, FOX news network, all talk radio, Wall Street, mortgage brokers, the Republican Party, Tea Parties protestors, Town hall protestors and so on.
Obama has used this ploy of managing the perception of himself by blaming others throughout his career. Obama has always played the game of focusing attention on someone else; he has been a master at making someone else the bad guy, so no-one will look too closely at his own inadequacies and lack of achievement.
This ploy worked as a Community Organizer, in his getting elected to the Illinois legislature and then as a do-nothing member of the Illinois legislature, in getting elected as a U.S. Senator and then as a do-nothing U. S. Senator, as a candidate for president who was totally unqualified and now as a president with failed domestic and foreign policies.
The management of the public's and media's perception of others rather than of himself allows such disasters as the Stimulus Bill, Cash for Clunkers, a $1.4 trillion budget deficit, failures in dealing with Iran, N. Korea, Russia, lying about transparency in his government with his Czars and the secret legislative process with only Democrats, lying about bipartisanship when he is president, lying about not signing any bill with earmarks when every bill has earmarks, lying about no lobbyists in his government, lying about a new morality when he is president as he appoints tax cheats and those involved in other corruption, and the list goes on and on.

Obama Not a War President
The same people who wanted to kill Americans on 9/11 and in many previous terrorist attacks around the world are based in Afghanistan and adjacent Pakistan.
Americans have been lulled into a false sense of safety because Bush took the war to the enemy and instituted Homeland Security measures, including GITMO, that have prevented other attacks on American soil.
Meanwhile, Obama is more obsessed with his image and with being the rock star to the world than with the security and welfare interests of the United States. That is why Obama waffles among various positions on Afghanistan, delays decisions until the polls tell him what to do, ignores the troops in harms way while he dithers and tries to sweet talk our enemies.
This was Obama's war of necessity.
This was Obama's battlefront for the War on Terrorism.
This was the war we could not afford to lose according to Obama.
This was the war where we would find Osama Bin Laden and kill him in retribution for 9/11.

Attack on FOX News Has Dangerous Broader Implications
Obama's attack on FOX News is not just un-American; IT IS DANGEROUS TO FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND FREEDOM OF THE PRESS in general. This is symptomatic of the Obama administration and the leftists in Congress (like Pelosi and Waxman) in general; THEY ARE AFRAID OF THE TRUTH AND FACTS. They area afraid that the public might find out about the true cost of ObamaBaucusCare, the ineffectiveness and corruption in the Stimulus Bill, the weakness and confusion about foreign policy, the rising unemployment beyond what Obama promised, the questionable corruption, socialist agendas and criminal activities of many Obama appointees and so on.

Obama's Foreign Policy Is "Clownish"
Obama's foreign policy of apology tours, appeasing enemies, empty threats and double-crossing allies is not just comical and an embarrassment to the United States. Charles Krauthammer, writing in the Washington Post 10.16.09, calls Obama's foreign policy "clownish". Krauthammer notes:
1. Obama is all about making the people of other nations"feel good" about the United States and then in the long run they will behave as good citizens of the world.
2. Obama was silent when Iran suppressed demonstrators by shooting and imprisoning them. In order to not irritate China, Obama had human rights taken off the agenda for Hillary Clinton's recent visit there and Obama refused to meet with the Dalai Lama. In return, China refuses to join in any hard sanctions against North Korea or Iran and , with China is trying to destabilize the dollar by going to a new international currency standard.
3. Obama's "respect for Muslims" speech in Cairo and pressing Israel for a total freeze on settlements has not led to any resolution of conflict or change in attitudes in that region.
4. Obama's breaking the pledge to Poland and the Czech Republic to place a missile defense system in those countries has heightened fears in the entire Eastern Europe region that Russia will be unopposed in trying to regain control over former Soviet Union countries. Russia meanwhile refuses to even talk about sanctions against Iran.
5. In July, Obama stated that Iran must show compliance with inspections of nuclear facilities by the time of the G20 meeting or they would face "sanctions that have bite". Well, the G20 has come and gone the Obama has retreated from his threat and done nothing.
In addition, we have the months of Obama publicly agonizing over a decision about more troops in Afghanistan, in Obama's "war of necessity", after his appointed commander and the military leaders said the increase in troops was necessary. As one columnist wrote, Obama needs to realize that he in Commander-in-Chief and not Hamlet.
Obama's inaction and bowing to the will of various dictators is not just a joke. It emboldens the enemies of freedom to extend their influence. Obama is far from making everyone feel good about the United States; he is actually making the United States and the world less safe.

Afghanistan Follow-up: All the White House Generals
The top military leader in Afghanistan Gen. McChrystal, WHO OBAMA APPOINTED IN MARCH 2009, thinks there is some urgency and in August he recommended 40,000 more troops. The area commander Gen Petraeus, who engineered the turnaround in Iraq (which Obama opposed as a Senator and then denied as a candidate) seems to support Gen McChrystal's request. All of Obama's statements from 2007 through August 2009 state that Afghanistan is the "war of necessity" to clearly defeat Al Qaeda and the Taliban. But now, General Hilary Clinton, General Joe Biden ,General John Kerry,General Nancy Pelosi, General Harry Reid and all of the make-believe Generals in the Cabinet and crowd of advisors surrounding Obama are warning that Afghanistan can jeopardize Obama's domestic socialist agenda, so maybe the U.S. should get out of Afghanistan. After all, what Democrat in good standing would want to trade-off all of the pork billions being spent merely for national security and defeating an enemy sworn to kill more Americans? When that happens, the Democrats can always blame it on Bush-Cheney. Meanwhile, American troops are in harms way in Afghanistan, more civilians are being killed and the United States is on a path to be defeated.
ACORN Follow-up
Bertha Lewis, the head of ACORN reported on an "internal investigation" and found that the chrages against ACORN were made up. This must be some kind of joke. What else would we expect from the head of ACORN and an "internal investigation"? Why not have Al Qaeda investigate itself or the Mexican Mafia investigate itself? What a farce! As for Lewis, denials are what we would expect from an organization filled with corruption, cheating and criminal acts. John Gotti denied any criminal activity as head of a Mafia family.

No Chicago Oympics in 2016 a Win for Chicago Citizens
CHICAGO LOSES THE BID FOR THE OLYMPICS. Obama's world apology tour, bowing to the King of Saudi Arabia, kissing ass in South America and being the greatest appeaser since Chamberlain before WW2, was not enough for Obama, Michelle and Oprah to win the Olympics. THIS IS A GREAT VICTORY FOR THE HONEST CITIZENS AND TAXPAYERS OF CHICAGO, OF ILLINOIS AND OF THE U.S., who would surely have to pay hundreds of millions in uncovered costs due to the "Chicago Way" of doing business. The corrupt politicians in Chicago (the Mayor Daley crowd) and Illinois (the Blago crowd), criminals, unions, ACORN and the rest of the Obama machine must be weeping at the lost opportunity to rip off hundreds of millions in: crooked overvalued land deals, huge overruns in construction costs for sports areas, for an Olympic village and for roads, bribery for all kinds of license fees, extra unnecessary union workers with massive overtime jobs, payoffs to avoid strikes, requirements to hire incompetent politically connected cronies, various scams and con games played upon visitors, opportunities for muggings and so on, if the Olympics were held in Chicago. Obama's Failures Excused if Bush Failed
The blogs are filled with amusing childish comments of the Obama puppets. Obama is excused by his knee-jerk followers from any failures, naive policies and incompetency if Bush-Cheney or someone else also failed.
So, if Carter-Reagan-Bush1-Clinton-Bush2 failed to get Iran and North Korea to act responsibly with the threat of meaningless ineffective sanctions then it's okay for Obama to do the same and fail even as Iran and North Korea close in on having a nuclear weapons.
If Bush had a deficit budget of $450 billion, then it's okay for Obama to have promised to cut the deficit but in reality to have a deficit of four times that of Bush.
If Bush approved budgets with outrageous earmarks as payoffs for support of his Iraq policy, then it's okay for Obama who promised not to sign any budgets with earmarks, to have a Stimulus Bill of $787 billion that is almost all pork and a 2010 budget with a $1.5 trillion deficit filled with more pork.
If Clinton and Bush2 failed to reign in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, then it's okay for Obama to let them still run uncontrolled and to encourage low cost car loans with the failed Cash for Clunkers and to still encourage low cost mortgages for those who will not be able to pay.
If Bush2 failed to provide adequate military resources for the fight against Islamic Terrorism in Afghanistan, then it's okay for Obama to go back on all of his statement in the U.S. Senate, in the presidential campaign and as president and now "reconsider" the strategy in Afghanistan, with the pitiful excuse that he just became aware that Afghanistan is a corrupt government, there is tribal warfare and enormous drug trade.
The sheep that blindly fawn over Obama can do no better than throw out terms like "neocon", Bush this, Cheney that, and not have to face the total failure of Obama in every aspect of his presidency and not have to face the fact of Obama's continual lying.
